
Phil has been in the industry of helping people financially plan for 8 years. He always acts in the best interests of his clients. He works mainly with individuals and families to give them an idea of where they are today and a plan designed to meet their financial and retirement goals. One of his passions has been working with families with children with special needs. He helps them plan for the uncertain and provide confidence in a changing landscape.
Phil obtained a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Business and Psychology from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He also has obtained the advanced designation of Chartered Special Needs Consultant from the American College of Financial Planning and qualifies for the Retirement Planning Specialist title awarded by Equitable Advisors, based upon the receipt of a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
Phil has held leadership roles in managing a team of 20 financial professionals in his time with Equitable Advisors and leading that team amongst the top in their branch and region.
In his free time, Phil can be found rooting for the Maryland Terrapins, running triathlons with his wife, spending time with family and helping in the community through volunteer associations with a focus on helping children with autism such as Autism Speaks and The Whole Self Center. One of his favorite ways to give back is by guest teaching Finance 101 to autistic young adults.
